A letter from our CEO, Mojca Zupan
To our community around the world
We hope you and your loved ones are all feeling well and staying safe during these troublesome times. With everyone staying strictly at home, days have changed significantly for the PlanetCare team.
As communities around the globe find their new routines we wanted to send some virtual support and good thoughts to everyone adjusting to the situation. We’d also like to express our immense gratitude to everyone who can’t stay at home and is working hard to provide all of us with the most important services. We can’t thank you enough!
In spite of the difficulties the situation has brought upon us, we’ve been doing our best to remain optimistic and have taken the opportunity to reflect on our journey. PlanetCare was founded in 2018 and since then we’ve passionately followed our vision: a world without microfiber pollution. Truth be told, it hasn’t been easy and we’ve often faced challenges, which at first seemed insurmountable.
In those moments, the continued support we’ve been receiving from all of you gave us an additional pinch of motivation to keep going. It has been truly amazing to see how many people care deeply about the microplastics pollution issue. This has definitely been the highlight of our journey and we’ll keep working hard to make our shared vision a reality.
Knowing so many passionately devoted people and communities exist makes us optimistic about the future. Together, we’ll be able to rebuild connections, networks and economies when all this is over.
Finally, I wanted to say that I am hoping that this whole situation will give everyone pause for thought on how we have been living. At the very least, it shows that big and rapid change is possible.
Wishing you all the best,
